I can see students spending hours everyday on this site. Some will cheat but most won’t.

Great question. As I see it, the biggest difference between wePapers and Scribd is the limitation of the service to academic documents, as well as the ability to interact with other users. The social aspects of the site is definitely different than Scribd, at least in my experience.

As for how they’re going to monetize, your guess is as good as mine. I’m definitely curious to see where it goes.

Your biggest worry is my biggest hope, but seriously that is probably what a lot of people will end up using wepapers for.
