		<description>Great tip. I thought you could even expand on this and create a mind map on various subjects and use that as your background. It would be easy to change every now and then and is a great way to get an overall view of your study material.

By constant reminders, I mean that you will be seeing your desktop many MANY times each day, which serves as an active reminder. Assuming you have throughly read through the content on your background, each time you see the desktop, it will spark the memory of all of that content in your mind. This transfers it from your short term to your long term memory, so you can remember it better later.

Speaking of the subliminal software, I tried Subliminal Mind once, and I really liked it, though I did not see any long-term effects.
